[ 4:02PM EDT: My apologies, Mr. Kalashnikov, and a toast. Cheers! ]
Typical of Asian “cute,” isn’t it?

It’s the “The Glambo Signature Series ‘Hello Kitty’ HK-AK-47″ from GlamGuns.com:
The world should note the hand-crocheted shoulder-stock muffler and the anodized titanium plating. Several choices in stock wood are available. With a limited run of only 500, buy now before they’re gone! An mere $100 extra includes Glambo’s signature wood-burnt into the opposite side of the handguard. A perfect gift for the young lady of the house.
A bargain at only $1072.95!
”A perfect gift for the young lady of the house,” huh? I’m also sure this one is destined to be the new favorite of Thai Hookers. And the Gay Mafia in Massachusetts. And maybe Elmo when he snaps… That Grover just won’t return his affection.
Really, I think I’ll stick with assault-rifle-black… On a pre-ban, milled Bulgarian at the rock-bottom price of only $425.
*shakes head*
Friggin’ vandals.
I would sooner buy a Norinco…

What grave, whose grave? He is still alive!

Oh my God … He’s gotta be ninety now! I shouldn’t've assumed…

Nowhere on Wiki’s writeup do they mention the Norinco staple gun…the SKS.
I’ve two of those in carbine, pre-ban of course. Solid as rock, and fun to fire.

Just say “No!” to Norinco… My three were Russian, manufactured in … crap … now I forget … one of the ‘grads…

I have owned several Norinco Ak’s. Bought my last on in 1993. Never a missfire or FFT. several 1000′s of rounds.
Do you own one? I also have 1 made by Romania nd Poland…..neither have the Chinese build quality….

I used to own several, and they were far inferior. The mainspring, for instance, wasn’t some two-wire, wound piece of shit like it is in the Norinco. They were made of legitimate spring steel. The Romanian and Bulgarians were milled receivers, far superior in every way to the Stamped Norinco. Even the Russian and Egyptian Maadi were stamped with far more precision than the Norinco, which is traditionally stamped so coarsely as to cut your skin. Unsurprisingly, the pinned barrels of the Norincos were astoundingly less accurate than those of their threaded, Soviet-bloc counterparts (if you can call them that).
So question becomes, have you ever owned anything else but a Norinco, despite your claim? Because given actual, usable build-quality factors, I can’t see your opinion holding any weight whatsoever in the realm of reality.
Unless, of course, the Polish and Romanians you claim to have owned were, in fact, the Chinese copies that flooded the market in the mid-to-late 80′s — made by Norinco. I would suspect that is the case, considering that Poland never manufactured AK’s — theirs were manufactured in Czechoslovakia.

I’ve given you several hints as to whether or not you’re playing with a Norinco-refab.
Now the second, bigger one.
Are you playing with a 7.62x39mm? Because those weren’t manufactured in the Soviet bloc after 1975. The AK-74, sporting the inferior 5.56mm, was King-of-the-Day until the revival of the AK-47 in 1991 — NONE of which were imported into this country until the late 90′s, the ones which were given the full treatment by Norinco.
You can sort of feel when you’re playing with a 30+ year old weapon — or an AKM.

1. Czechoslovakia never manufactured AK’s, but their own gun – Sa vz.58;
2. Poland never imported any small arms for military from Czechoslovakia (only some CZ-75 for police). Radom plant manucactured AK’s from 1957.
