A) In 1967, Lucas was working more on American Graffitti and THX-1138, not Star Wars.
B) Most of the characters and stuff plopped in there were not even remotely part of Star Wars in 1967. This stuff was not even created by Lucas. You think he designed Leia’s hair? C’mon!
C) It also supposes he had no idea what Star Wars was about early on, when, from day one it was about architypal good vs. evil.
D) It downgrades genius and creativity into plagarism and stealing. That’s awful. Just because you don’t have an original idea does not mean that all ideas are simply stolen from observation.
E) Could it at least be subtle? [sarcasm]Gosh, I didn’t catch that R2-Dr reference at all[/sarcasm]
Okay, I hate that video. HATE. Mutherfucking hate.
